Was: Das Risiko-Management in der Phase Definieren sieht die Umfeld-Analyse vor.
Bei der Umfeld-Analyse beobachtet das Projekt-Team Aspekte, die auf das Projekt einwirken, obwohl diese nicht direkter Bestandteil des In/Out-Projekt-Rahmen sind. Diese Aspekte können außerhalb des Einflussbereiches der Organisation liegen (Patente, Gesetzte, Trends etc.) oder innerhalb des Einflussbereiches der Organisation (andere Projekte wie Verlagerungen, Softwareeinführungen, Technologiewechsel etc.).
Dabei geht es nicht nur um Aspekte, die auf das Projekt einwirken sondern auch um Aspekte auf die das Projekt einwirkt. In beiden Fällen kann das förderlich oder hinderlich sein. Je nach Einschätzung sind Maßnahmen im Rahmen eines Kommunikationskonzeptes erforderlich.

What: Risk management in the Define phase involves conducting an environment analysis.
During the environment analysis, the project team observes aspects that influence the project but are not directly part of the project’s scope. These aspects may lie outside the organization’s sphere of influence (such as patents, laws, trends, etc.) or within it (such as other projects like relocations, software implementations, technology changes, etc.).
This analysis considers not only aspects that impact the project but also those on which the project itself has an impact. In both cases, these influences can be either beneficial or detrimental. Depending on the assessment, measures may be necessary as part of a communication strategy.
